KAPUTAS BEACH
Kapautas Beach is 20 km away from central Kas. It is one of the famous beaches in the area and has a natural, pristine beauty, It is visited each year by many tourists local and foreign. What makes this beach specifically significant is the fact that it is by a canyon, Its turquoise sea color can be explained by continuous flow natural springs clear underwater coming from the mountains.
The beach consists of sand and gravel and has a generally cool and quiet nature due to its location. Let us also note that families with children need to be careful beacuse it gets deeper after the 8-10th meters.
There are also many caves large and small in this area. The best known of these is the Blue Cave. Transportation to this cave formerly inhabited by seals is done by boat.
The beach is reached by 186 stairs descending from the road. So be mindful of elderly family members because it might be difficult for them to climb up the stairs on way back from the beach. There are ll the amenities you may need at this sandy beach such as changing rooms, toilets, cafe and sun loungers. A limited number of parking spaces are available at the street side. KUCUK CAKIL BEACH
The beach is in Kas center and in English its name means “Little Pebble Beach”, (Kucuk Cakil beach). Little Pebble beach is just as the name suggests; a small 5 meter cove with small pebbles. You can reach it with 10 minutes’ walk east of the harbour, just along the harbour road.
There are two beach clubs Cinarlar and Derya which offer good swimming and snorkelling areas. Sunloungers are free on the understanding that customers buy drinks or snacks from them. However, it is a busy beach and not easy to find a place in the peak season. Like the other beaches of Kaş, tourists may dive and observe under sea life.
This beach is good for people who would like to be close to their hotels. The water is cool to refresh you during hot summer days as underwater springs are mixed to it.
BUYUK CAKIL BEACH
This is the second closest beach to Kas Center after Küçük Çakıl. The distance is 1.3 km from the center and it is possible to walk in 20 minutes. You can also use city minibuses departing frequently from the center. If you want to take a taxi, it costs 20 TL from the center.
Sea water is relatively cool as the spring water flowing from the mountains mixes into the sea. You can enter the sea by walking directly from the pebble beach. If you have sea shoes, it is useful to take it with you.
There are 6 beach-restaurants lined side by side at the beach. The restaurants deliver food and drinks service to sunbeds at the beach. There is no separate fee for umbrellas and sunbeds. There are also no spending limits. In this respect, it is the only place in Kas where you are not pressurized to spend in exchange for free sunbeds.
At the same time, Büyük Çakıl is one of the most beautiful spots where you can watch the sunset. As the sun sets, a few restaurants are setting their tables right next to the sea, on pebbles. Thus, a magical environment where you can eat closest to the sea is provided. Moreover, the restaurants of Büyük Çakıl are local old businesses and serve fresh sea fish all summer. Sitting against the sunset accompanied by the sound and smell of the sea is a very special experience that you will remember.

AQUARIOUS BEACH
Aquarious Beach is in Kas Cukurbag Peninsula and operated by Aquarious Hotel. It is one of the best beautiful beaches in Cukurbag Peninsula. The hotel accepts customers from outside and has a beautiful platform entry beach overlooking Meis Island at a bay where the sea is relatively calm.
Do not forget to bring your mask and snorkel as you will see a lot of fish wandering around, such as trumpet fish, squid, tuna and sea breams. We like and recommend restaurant’s excellent menu for sea food. (Try stuffed calamari, shripms, grilled sea bream or sea bass.)
